In 2003, Seth earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Forest Resources and Conservation from the University of Florida. After graduation, he worked with the Florida Division of Forestry as a State Lands Forester managing 70,000 acres of public land at Tate’s Hell State Forest, then as the Putnam County Forester. In 2005, Seth joined ESI, a private Florida-based environmental consulting firm as a Project Scientist/Forester, opening and leading a branch office in Eastern North Carolina in 2006. In late 2009, Seth left ESI and formed Premier Forestry & Environmental Consulting, PLLC. In early 2011, he acquired Comprehensive Forestry Services, Inc., a well-established and highly respected forestry consulting firm, gaining 5 experienced employees, new services lines, and positioning the firm for continued growth. Seth has served as Chair for the NC Chapter of ACF, sits on the Forestry Advisory Council for Wayne Community College, and is an advisor for the Onslow County Career & Technical Education Program.
Angelo Chimonas
Forestry Technician
From 2001 through 2023, Angelo proudly served in the United States Marine Corps, fulfilling his service obligation with the rank of Master Sergeant. He joined Premier Forestry in the summer of 2023 through the SkillBridge program. Angelo is experienced in logistics planning and plays an integral part in overseeing logging, our skidder spray job, and other forestry-related tasks.
Scott Adams
Equipment Operator
Scott specializes in heavy equipment operation in reforestation, early- and mid-rotation activities with over 25 years of experience operating a bulldozer in forestry applications. In addition to operating our bulldozer, Scott is a skilled spray-skidder operator.
Brenda Garvey
Bookkeeper
Mrs. Garvey retired from the City of New Bern, NC after serving in several capacities with various departments. After serving as a bookkeeper for M&W Signs in Pollocksville, NC, she joined Premier Forestry in January of 2018.
Taven Ward
Office Manager
Taven is tasked with keeping our office neat, clean, and organized. She helps file operational reports and is involved with developing messaging for the various career fairs and student outreach activities we attend.
